I can’t figure out how to calculate this:

Determine the maximum amount of subnets, maximum number of hosts per subnet, and for the IP address enter the subnet address, broadcast address, range of valid hosts for the subnet, of the following IP address:

10.8.7.1/16

The subnet mask is: 255.255.0.0

I was able to do, that’s the answer for anyone who wants to check:

Quantity of Subnets: 2⁸ = 256 subredes

Number of Valid Hosts: 2¹⁶ = 65536 - 2 (broadcast e endereço da rede) = 65534 endereços válidos

Network Address: 10.8.0.0

Valid Hosts: 10.8.0.1 até 10.8.255.254

Broadcast: 10.8.255.255
