Backup SQL SERVER database

I have a database stored on the client’s server. I only have access to the Connection string of this database, so I can manage it, as I can back up the bd on Server for My Local Machine, for testing?

If you already have SQL Server running on your local machine one output is to use SQL Server Import and Export Wizard to import the remote tables to your local instance.

Select the remote server as Source and your local machine as Destination. A detailed step by step can be found hereen. As I do not have SQL Server installed here at the moment, I can not detail more, but the steps are similar the screens of that reply.
