Why isn’t Vagrant synchronizing the folders?

I’m using:

Windows 8 64 bits    
Vagrant 1.7.2
Virtual box 4.3.28
GitBash 1.9.4 para conexão SSH
Box Ubuntu 14.04.02 Trusty 32 bits
Box Ubuntu 14.04.02 Trusty 64 bits

I am developing with Ruby on Rails, however I can’t edit the generated files in the box, the Vagrant folder is not synchronizing or reading the files in my project directory.

Follow my Vagrant file:

Does anyone know why?

I solved the problem using another box I found in vagrantcloud. First I set up on Mac, after everything working, I managed a box (package) and went to Windows8, I did the normal procedure and it worked!

I recommend using 64bit systems, 32bit systems do not support nfs, and enable virtualization in bios.

You have to "uncomment" the folder sharing line.

config.vm.synced_folder "../data", "/vagrant_data"

The first parameter is your host folder, the second is guest (VM - Vagrant). You will see that in your VM you have a folder in the root called Vagrant. I recommend that your shared files or folders stay there (it was the only place that worked for me). If you try to share home folder the vangrant will require password.
