How to create new folder in an Android Studio project

I’m a beginner in Android Studio and I’m trying to create new folders (values-ldpi, values-mdip and etc.) in the project structure, but I can’t find option.

    What exactly is the difficulty? All you need to do is open the context menu on top of the folder res and then New > Folder.

  • I got my problem now is that the perspective that showed the project was only displaying the package, I changed the scope to project files and now I can see all the folders (before I didn’t see the folder res).

  • The solution in my case was to go in res -> New -> Android Resource Directory

  • Opa, sorry. I confused Android Studio with ADT, which I use.
