I do not have a Card or Token, but I would like to know how it works because in the future I must use in the system to generate Certified/Digitally Signed Medical Reports.
I have some questions:
-With you it brings a set of public and private key or should I generate them from the Certificate?
-It is recognized as a locked storage device?
-Does the system install the certificate automatically? -I can use your Private/Public Key/Certificate with Openssl?

e-CPF is about the same as NF-e.

It brings with itself. In the A3 certificate, the keys are inside the USB device, being accessed through the Windows Certification Store.

Depends on the manufacturer and type of device (token, smartcard).
-The system automatically installs the certificate?
No. Depends on the certificate and the OS. On Windows, A3 is installed automatically. A3 depends on the manufacturer and the language used to develop its application. A1 depends on manual installation.
-I can use your Private/Public Key/Certificate with Openssl?
Yes.
