Hello, I started to study programming a short time and always end up getting a little lost in the codes. Only then I realized that the spacing in my visual code is smaller and this is literally what makes me lose myself during classes.
So I’d like to know how to make it equal to the teaching staff, which is almost a pattern to be like this:
That of the staff:

  • In the status bar (on the lower right) you have the option of how many spaces to use for indentation. Choose 4 spaces and then use Format Document from your context menu (or CTRL+SHIFT+I).

The problem in your case is the source, you need to use a monospaced font so that every character has the same size. Try for example the font Courier New (that exists by default in Windows) or Consolas, just open the text editor settings and modify the default font.

  • Thanks buddy, you’ve helped me a lot!
