How to develop for Windows Phone 8 using Visual Studio 2013

I wonder how I can develop for windows phone 8 using VS2013, because only have the option for Windows Phone 8.1.

This is irrelevant today.

To official recommendation is to use VS 2012 if you really need it. But it talks about installing the 8 SDK optionally in VS 2013. In fact in that reply in the SO shows this.

Think hard if you really want to do this. This version is considered obsolete and tends to disappear soon, mainly because very little sold.

I found how to make an app for Windows Phone 8 using Visual Studio 2013.

When creating the project just choose Blank App (Windows Phone Silverlight). So the person has the development option for WP8.
