When we want to see some method, we press F12 and then we are "transported" to the said method. It turns out that this method can be in another project or other form or in one user control etc and here comes the question. Is there a hotkey that makes me go back to where I was before pressing F12? A kind of undo. There is a way?

  • Have you tried CRTL +? I don’t know if it works between windows. If it doesn’t, at least CTRL TAB or CTRL SHIFT TAB helping?

  • No, that’s not it. Shift+Tab navigates between open windows, right? I speak within a project I navigate between methods. With F12 I go to the method and then with a key or a set, I want to go back to where I was.

  • No, did you try to do what I went through? What did you do to each one?

  • CTRL+Tab works fine

  • And the CTRL + worked out too?

  • No, I got nothing from Ctrl+

Use the following commands respectively Ctrl, +, -.

There is a button in the Menu that does the same procedure:

One way is to simply use CTRL + TAB to navigate between TABS.

Or you can use CTRL + -, to get back to where I was. It means Navigate Backward.

Shortcut reference.
