Does anyone have any information about Google no longer making ADT available for download? Have they fixed Android Studio as a tool?

In case the question already exists I apologize, but I made an app and published these days. I went to create a new project, another idea, and the eclipse did not create Activity or the layout, I imagined that it was outdated. I then updated everything on the SDK manager. Still nothing. I went to the site to download the new one, and I couldn’t find the ADT. Only Android Studio. Does anyone have any information about it? 'Cause I’m thinking about changing platforms after that, yeah, it’s way past time. But I have projects in development in the eclipse and not all tool migration is so simple.

Anyway, does anyone have any information, preferably with reliable source on it ?

    Yes, the Google is promoting Android Studio as an alternative to Eclipse’s Android development. This can be seen in several ways: 1) The menu Android Studio is the second in the tool section 2) The login screen Tools has a huge advertisement about the Android Studio. 3) They recommend migration several times. On the page http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing/installing-adt.html you can find more downloads: Or by Install New Software or with the zip at the bottom of the page.

I never saw an official note and I believe that there would be on the part of Google for now, not to scare the developers.

However, it is what can be noted is traces of a possible abandonment of the continuation of the ADT to the Eclipse as for example:

Note: Eclipse 3.6 (Helios) is no longer supported with the Latest version of ADT.

Another approach:

If you have been using Eclipse with ADT, be Aware that Android Studio is now the Official IDE for Android, so you should migrate to Android Studio to receive all the Latest IDE updates.

Regarding your question, you have not gone past the time to migrate your development to Android Studio, but I believe that when you start development on Androidstudio you will see great changes, it is for the better. Because I’m using Android Studio for development, and every day that passes, I discover something even more fascinating that in Eclipse we do not have.
