You can enable or disable Virtualization Technology Intel® in the BIOS configuration. The default behavior is "disabled". To change the settings, do the following:
Access the system BIOS by pressing during the POST ("power-on self test" - bootstrap self-test).
Click Advanced > Processor Configuration.

Select Intel® VT for Directed I/O (Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed E/D) and switch to Enabled (Enabled).
Select Virtualization Technology Intel® VT and Switch to Enabled
Run an AC power shut-down cycle.
Note Whenever configuration options are changed to "enabled" or "disabled", it is necessary to run an AC power shut-down cycle ("power Cycle") for the changes to take effect.
The Intel® server boards or the Intel® server systems need the following components to support the Intel® virtualization technology or the Intel® virtualization technology for Directed I/O:
Intel® Xeon® processor that supports Virtualization Technology Intel®
BIOS with support for Directed I/O Virtualization Technology Intel® or Virtualization Technology
A third-party virtual machine manager (VMM - virtual machine manager) may also be required.
