Error opening Android React-Native project on Androidstudio via macos

I’m trying to open a project Android React-Native existing through the AndroidStudio, but the following exceptions are displayed for me:

com.intellij.openapi.externalSystem.model.ExternalSystemException: Unable to save ...local.properties (Permission denied)

java.io.FileNotFoundException: ...local.properties (Permission denied)

My operating system is Macos and Android project was created by command:

react-native init exercicios

How can I solve ?

As the error indicates (permission denied), your user has no permissions to change the file local.properties. This file serves to indicate the SDK directory on the computer and is stored in the project folder. It has only one uncalled line (similar to sdk.dir = /Users/USERNAME/Library/Android/sdk).

To resolve the issue, first check that the user you are logged in has write permissions in the project folder; and if necessary, launch Android Studio as Administrator.

I found that the command react-native init exercícios was not creating the project properly.

I needed to change the read and write permissions in the project folder to be able to work properly.
