For sending email, no component required, in ISS you have CDO.SYS, it is part of IIS from version 6. Here is an example of how to send a message with it:

To resize images, if the server has Office Web Components installed, you can take a look at this script:

Good guy. About CDDOSYS need to activate something in IIS? If I do the script already works? The Pure-upload is very confusing, I will need some time to understand, but I think it will be the solution.
