Submit ITEXTSHARP Report in a Form

How to submit the itextsharp report in a form? No need to save it in PDF. Just display it in a form. The same way we can do in reportviewer.

  • I don’t understand, if you don’t want to generate a pdf, why would you need the iTextSharp to generate this form?

  • Yes I want to generate PDF. But I would like to know how to display the generated report in a form. And not in a conventional PDF bed.

I think the only way would be to use the component COM of Acrobat Reader (of course, requires the application to be installed):

  1. Right click on your ToolBox and select "Choose items" (Select Items)
  2. Go to "COM Components"
  3. Browse and select "Adobe PDF Reader" and click OK

  1. Do the drag & drop of the control for their Form
  2. To open the PDF simply change the property src to the path of your PDF
