I am developing a mobile application services & news for a company and this is a video area related to the institution. The doubt is:
Aiming for the best user experience, the app should play the videos or request a standard player?
Obs.: are youtube videos.

Thinking from the point of view of the user, I would prefer the video to open inside the application instead of the App to be minimized and open the file in an external player, because, always has the detail of going back to the App after seeing the video, if it is several videos...
Also have the performance bid, which player you want to use? native app or phonegap?

@Matheus Depending on the quantity, I think you should use the player of the device. In this case, if it is several videos from there, it would be better if you tried to develop a little cricket with thumbnails and click/tap. Good luck.
