Installed VS2017 but not only 'Blank Solution' templates. I tried to uninstall and reinstall without success. Someone’s been through this before?

You need to install from the Visual Studio installer.
Click the "Workload" tab in the upper left corner, then tick the right ". NET-Desktop Development" and click Install. Note that this can modify the size of your installation (Bottom Right), and you can install other Workloads, but you must install at least the ". NET-Desktop Development".
If you still can’t see the templates, then Visual Studio is probably taking the templates from your "Custom Templates" and not installed. To resolve this, copy the folder of the installed templates to the custom.
Installed Folder: "C: Program Files (x86) Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0 Common7 IDE Projecttemplates"
Custom Folder: "C: Users Documents Visual Studio 2017 Projecttemplates"

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I already did this marked the ". NET-Desktop Development". , I have uninstalled and reinstalled installing only it and remains the same.

Copying Projecttemplates works. However, I don’t know if it would be the right one, since I installed other options in worload and it’s not showing..

Any idea?.. because the folder mentioned above is from vs2015, although it works, vs2017 should install correctly.

Despite the version, the folder is the same VS17. But unfortunately it’s hard to pinpoint the exact cause of why VS doesn’t install properly, it would take several tests in various environments to try to get an answer, and yet, it may not be unique. The question is that if some of the procedures mentioned solved the problem, it is already a valid answer and that can be useful for someone.

Perfect. Just to finish.. when you add a new Shift + Alt + C class, tbm does not show the class. You would know how to hit?

Thanks for the answers. They helped a lot as a palliative but did not solve definitively. After I opened a bug in microsoft they could not solve, but then I upgraded to the latest version released recently it came back working.

Yes I chose '.NET desktop Development', among others. but no template appeared.

After several tests, I was able to appear I installed VS2015 and copied the folder 'Projecttemplates' and pasted on VS2017, but it doesn’t seem right, as if something was missing.
