In Javascript, we have the function test(), for example:

/Test \[(\d+)\]/gi.test(string); // Pode retornar true ou false.

php has some similar function?

Yes. No PHP you can use the preg_match

if ( preg_match("/[\d]+/", $value) ) {
   /* Code Here */
}
