Does anyone know of a plugin or function that automatically deletes after a certain period posts and Wordpress media?
I have a news site and has news of more than 2 years that I wish to delete, because it weighs and has no advantage to keep on the server.

It has some paid functions, but for what you need it does not need to be Pro (paid) Any questions see his Readme in the link above.
It has several options to manage old content. Delete, or just move to Recycle Bin. Set dates for content removal etc.

If it were possible Wordpress not create a lot of thumbnails would be good, a 70kb image while uploading creates a lot of versions that reaches 1 Mb, imagine a site with more than 100 daily news.

@Darleica’s expensive orderly a searched on the Wordpress platform of Stackexchange https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/ there must be something free that solves. And WP creates this much image because it uses a type of Srcset to create an image for each screen resolution, so the user only downloads the ideal image for his screen.
