Is it true that the Codeigniter will end?

I saw a piece of information saying that Codeigniter will end. So I came here for more accurate information. That’s true?

Contrary to what many, inadvertently and thoughtlessly, are thinking and spreading around the web, Codeigniter will continue, yes, and this story of, in the near future, it be taken over by another company/organization/set/group, should be seen as something positive!
