It is likely that the file is corrupted. Unfortunately the best solution is to create another project from scratch and include the files.
From the original project file you can see which files you will need - not only C#code, but also resource files and other formats, if any. The most complicated is getting the references - try to open the file. corrupted csproj in a text editor and find out which references it uses, so you can rebuild them.
