CONT.SES BETWEEN DIFFERENT LIBREOFFICE/EXCEL FILES

I’m using the CONT.SES amid different files, but I’m getting:

ERROR:504.

The formula is like this:

=CONT.SES('file:///C:/Users/jaciel.barros/Desktop/RELATÓRIOS/JANEIRO2016.ods'#$JANEIRO.$O$3:$O$75;"SIM";'file:///C:/Users/jaciel.barros/Desktop/RELATÓRIOS/JANEIRO2016.ods'#$JANEIRO.$L$3:$L$75;"GURGEL")

    Hi Jaciel. Is this a new attempt, or did you ever have this formula working? I’ve never seen a path with a filename in a formula, and so I have my doubts if it works. But I’m curious to know. You took some negativities and votes to close, perhaps because you were too direct or because you gave few details.

    How about editing the question to include information about the source where you got it from, or describing exactly what you need to do? Maybe the question gets better if it is only: "it is possible to run formula with data from another file?"

    P.S.: Okay, the question may be improved, but I don’t think it deserves to be closed or gain negativity. Who voted like this could explain the reason, even to help Jaciel improve the content?

  • Seems to be some bug in the function CONT.SES, because I did with the CONT.SE and worked normally, you could try to concatenate the data of the columns O and L, separating with a dash, and then use the CONT.SE stating as a criterion the information concatenated, type "SIM-GURGEL".

Error 504 => Error in parameter list => A function parameter is not valid, for example a text instead of a number or a domain reference instead of a cell reference.
