After a long and good work to install IIS on Windows 10, when I add a website, in the Association block and in the Type field, the http item does not appear where it is possible to place the port and host name. I think some module is missing. Does anyone know which or lacked any resource?

Complementing: note that there is http on the first screen and in its edition is missing.

What version of the IIS? Can you describe what you are trying to do, including the path in the Internet Service Manager you are trying to trace to include creating a website? If yes, edit your question and make it more descriptive, this way will attract more people trying to help.

  • The IIS version is 10.0.0.0 and the manager console is 3.0 version 1607. Regardless of the path I place the site, http does not appear in type.

  • Take a look herein. Resembles what you’re trying to do?

  • That’s basically it, but in the type field appear 4 types: net.tcp, net.pipe, net.msmq and msmq.formatname. Nothing http where has the port.

You must click on Site and put Right and Add Site and on this screen Oce creates the site and has the option to put the port that Oce wants to use.

You’ll have to add a new Binding in that situation.

According to the documentation (the content is not available in Portuguese, so forgive any error):

How to add link information (Binding information) to your website

  1. Open the "Internet Service Manager": [...]

    • If you are using Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 [or Windows 10, provided it is not organized by category]:

    • Hold down the Windows key, press X, and click "Control Panel".

    • Click on "Administrative tools", and then double-click on "Internet Information Services Manager (IIS)".

  2. On the tab "Connections", expand the server name (server name), expand "Websites", and then click on the site where you want to set up associations (bindings).

  3. On the tab "Stocks", click "Associations..." (Bindings...)

  4. In the dialogue box "Associations of the Website" (Website Bindings), click "Add..."

Add Site Binding dialog box

  1. In the dialogue box "Add Membership to Site", add the membership information, and then click "OK".

Site Bindings dialog box

  • I came to this option, here it is as Associations, but the type list does not show http. In the frame it even appears with port 80, but if edited, http disappears.

  • I only edited to include the information you provided, but I found nothing new in the documentation.
