Featured Post - Wordpress

So I want to do something like in the following example http://www.f1bc.com/

Type, the frame that appears on the home of the site I left, where has a post with the big image and 2 on the right side.

I wanted to do exactly this, leave a featured post and the other 2 smaller, as I do to pass the arguments and pull the post so that one of them is highlighted?

The ideal would also be to be able to create a field in the post type that goes down to choose whether it would be highlighted or not, I have CMB2 installed, but I still can’t use it...

To make the posts or pages featured on the home page, enter the edit page and mark the star. You don’t need any plugin or special field. On this same page you determine the order of articles/posts.

I suggest to sort, use spaced numbers, that is, instead of 1,2,3,... use 10,20,30,...

This way if you need to change the order of the highlights will be easier.

Finally, to appear as on the mentioned page (large image on the left, with two smaller ones on the right) you will need to change the theme of the site, or at least, CSS.
