I must have a <meta name="keywords" content=""/> for each page of my site, or I can use the same for all pages ?

  • If I’m not mistaken, this tag should no longer be used

  • I found a article interesting on the subject

  • Good morning Fabricio, SEO is an aspect that demands constant updating. Meta Keywords, by being very attacked by Spammers, is in absolute decline. Should you use? No. My suggestion is to change the question to: SEO: When should I use Meta Tag Keyword? and allow a well-rounded community response.

  • I think it’s been answered here Meta Keywords is still required? and Use of meta Keywords

  • Although meta tags are no longer so high yet yes the use of it more directly and related to the page continues giving results and helping search engines present your page when there is a search

Manufacturing,

the most important for your site is based on the definition of the Title (mainly), Page Description and URL, and these elements should be unique to each page and should also include the keyword.

For example, if we’re talking about 'miss'. It would be a great practice for your URL to contain the word 'lose weight-xxxxxx', as well as the meta Description, for example: 'How lose weight in 2 weeks with the formula xxxx', in the same way with the title of the page.

It would not use meta tag on the page with several keywords related to your project, it can also be identified as 'Keyword Stuffing', in addition to all your research work and keyword planning being available to any webmaster or SEO expert.

If you can, watch this video of Matt Cutts

I hope I’ve helped.
