I haven’t been able to open the Eclipse for a few days after installing the JDK 8. The selection screen of Workspace lock and I can’t do anything.
I just installed the JDK 8, I just unpacked a new Eclipse, never opened the same, has not plugin installed, do not have the folder .metadata, and yet hangs on to the selection of Workspace when you open the Eclipse.
The error in the Event Properties of Windows is this:

Hi Giuliana, first I would like to thank you for your attention. I have 3 distinct versions, NEON, MARS and JUNO, but any one occurs the same problem. So far I don’t understand the reason for this problem. I realized that in Windows 10, if I run as ADM, sure, but not in Win 7. Mystery yet, because Eclipses worked normally. I don’t know if it has anything to do either, but I tried to change the NAME of the machine to access a database that is protected and released to the name of the host plus the name of the base, after that day it stopped, but I returned the name and it didn’t work out anymore.

It has no relation to the machine name. Do the following, run the command prompt eclipse initializer. So when the error occurs the eclipse will print the stacktrace and then we can identify the cause.

I think I’ll even put it on paper. The problem occurred "I think" due to an automatic update of Java, because I use 64 bits, and the update put 32 bits in the folder "C: Programdata Oracle Java", more precisely the folder "javapath". I deleted that folder and the eclipse ran. I saw that statement in another post.
