android:baselineAligned: When defined as false, prevents the layout from aligning your children’s baselines.

When you’re wearing one LinearLayout horizontal, the items are aligned by the position of their text line base (the first line of the first element of the list - top or left - is considered the reference line). This is to keep people from looking up and down when they are reading the text of the neighboring elements. To disable this property set android:baselineAligned=”false” in the XML layout.
