How do I get someone to write on cmd:

> tree

A message appears using the following command:

Console.Write("");

    What is the purpose of this writing?

You can use Console.ReadLine():

string entrada = Console.ReadLine();
if (entrada == "tree"){
    Console.WriteLine("Mensagem!");
}
