What is "xml-schema"
An XML Schema is the specification of a guy of an XML document describing the structure, content and rules of formation of XML instances (documents) that will be considered valid in relation to the schema. The rules determine data types for text contained in the elements and attributes, element hierarchies structure, boolean predicates, and other rules that restrict document content beyond the syntax constraints imposed by XML itself.
The data types defined by the XML Schema specification are used in several other XML applications.
