What is "webrtc"

Webrtc is a free and open project that provides browsers and mobile applications with Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities, through simple Apis.

Enables the development of high-quality RTC applications for web browsers, mobile platforms and Iot devices (Internet of Things), allowing communication between them through a common set of protocols.

The Webrtc initiative is a project supported by Google, Mozilla and Opera, among others.
