What is "visualg"

Visualg is a program that allows you to create, edit, interpret and execute algorithms in structured Portuguese (portugol) as a normal computer program. It is a program of free use and distribution, used in the teaching of programming in several schools and universities in Brazil and abroad.

Visualg has features like MS-DOS "screen" simulation (ms-dos), variable visualization, breakpoints, online help, export the algorithm to a similar code in Pascal (paschal), printing of sources and other characteristics that help in learning programming techniques.
