What is "visual-studio-code"

Visual Studio Code is a cross-platform code editor (Windows, Linux and Mac OS) by Microsoft.

Currently in the Preview version, with support for ASP.net 5, Javascript and Node.js with features such as debugging, Intellisense, Syntax Highlight and git integration. But there are plans to allow other languages like Python, PHP from community extensions.
