Virtualbox is a virtualization software developed by Innotek and later purchased by Sun Microsystems, which was later purchased by Oracle, which, like Vmware Workstation, aims to create environments for the installation of distinct systems. It allows the installation and use of one operating system within another, as well as its respective software, such as two or more independent computers, but physically sharing the same hardware.
