What is "vimeo"

Vimeo is a video sharing site where users can upload, share and view videos. It was founded by Zach Klein and Jakob Lodwick in December 2004.

The name Vimeo was created by the co-founder Jakob Lodwick and is a game of the words "video" (in Portuguese: video), and "me" (in Portuguese: eu) as a reference to the site’s exclusive dedication to videos made by users.
