Unity 3D or Unity is a proprietary 3D game engine and IDE created by Unity Technologies. Unity is similar to Blender, Virtools, or Torque Game Engine, compared to its primary form of game authoring: its graphical interface. The engine grew out of an addition of support for the Mac OS X platform and later became a cross-platform engine.
