What is "torrent"
Torrent is the extension of files used by a P2P type transfer protocol (Peer to Peer). This transfer happens as follows: the transferred files are divided into parts and each person who has such a file helps to do the upload to other users. This significantly reduces the bandwidth consumption of the file’s original distributor, so it is not necessary to store it on a server.
To share these files, you need to use a specific program, known as a client. It obtains the information contained in the files and takes care of all communication between users.
