What is "spam"

Spam can mean "Sending and Posting Advertisement in Mass", or "send and post mass advertising", or: "Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages" which means "ridiculous, pointless, annoying messages".

In its most popular form, spam consists of an e-mail (e-mail) for advertising purposes. The term spam, however, can be applied to messages sent by other means and in other situations even modest. Spams are usually appealing in character and are often uncomfortable and inconvenient. They are not always advertised, but they are always abusive, unwanted, received without being requested and sent in bulk to a large number of recipients.
