What is "screen-resolution"
Screen resolution represents the maximum number of pixels that the screen can display, that is, describes the level of detail that an image carries. The term applies equally to digital images, movie images and other image types. Higher resolutions mean more detail in the image.
Image resolution can be measured in several ways. Basically, the resolution quantifies how close the lines can get to each other and still be visibly determined.
The term resolution is often used as a pixel count on digital images. Something like 1080 X 720 (720p) or 1920 x 1080 (1080p), for example.
