What is "rtmpdump"

RTMPDump is a free software project dedicated to developing a set of tools for flows RTMP. The package includes three programmes, rtmpdump, rtmpsrv and rtmpsuck.

rtmpdump is used to connect to servers RTMP like normal flash player clients, and capture the stream network flow, and save it in a file. With this, commands can be built using the authentication connection and information previously obtained from the server RTMP for rtmpsrv.

rtmpsrv is used to view connections and streams.

rtmpsuck can also be used to capture streams, but can be used to detect the parameters to be used with rtmpdump.
