What is "powerbi"
Power Bi is a Business Intelligence consolidating information from different data sources. This facilitates the generation of reports and dashboards with strategic information, supporting decision-making by company executives.
Tools
Power BI consists of a Windows desktop application called Power BI Desktop, a service of Saas (Software as a Service) online called Power BI Service, and the Power BI mobile apps, called Power BI Mobile, available on Windows phones and tablets, as well as for iOS and Android devices.
Workflow
The workflow in Power BI usually starts in Power BI Desktop, where reports are created. These reports are published in the Power BI service, and then they can be shared. After sharing, authorized users will be able to view the reports through the browser on the Power Bi website or through Power BI Mobile on their mobile devices.

In addition to allowing to consolidate information from different databases (SQL Server, Mysql, Postgreesql, Oracle, Access, Sybase, Teradata, among others), it is also possible to extract information from text files, csv, XML, HTML and also features native integration with various online services such as:
