What is "plesk"

Plesk is a control panel that has the function of providing the client (from a hosting plan) a graphical environment for setting parameters for hosting accounts on a given server. It is developed by the company Swsoft, which has its headquarters in the city of Virginia, in the United States.

Plesk Dashboard allows the server administrator to create new websites, reseller accounts, email accounts and web interface-based DNS entries. The administrator can create client and site templates, which presupposes resource allocation parameters for domains or clients.

Plesk Panel installs custom versions or manages versions of Mysql and Postgresql database (Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Desktop on Windows), Apache server Tomcat Java platform, Coldfusion server as well as Counterstrike and Battlefield 1942 game servers.
