What is "keylogger"

Keyloggers are applications or devices that run on a particular computer to monitor all keyboard entries. Thus, the one who left the running program can, at another time, check everything that was typed during a certain period. Applications with the keylogging function have been created for perfectly legal actions, such as monitoring the activity of a company’s employees or even for parents to check what kind of content their children have accessed on the internet. This type of function is also included in many other types of applications, such as games that need to monitor the keyboard to know when a hotkey combination was triggered during a match.
