What is "ireport"

iReport is a graphical application, which allows you to "draw" a report, using a palette, and drag and drop components, much like creating interfaces and windows for programs. When saving, you will automatically generate a JRXML that you can use in the application you are developing. The advantage is that it is not necessary for you to know in depth the XML to be edited, saving development time. It also brings a ready set of templates that you can already use directly, or write your own templates and reuse them whenever you need to create a new type of report.
