What is "google-play"
Google Play is Google’s online store for distribution of apps, games, movies, music and books. Previously the store was called Android Market.
This name change to Google Play took place so that Google could unify the Android Market with the music store, movies and books and thus distribute all its digital content in one place.
Google Play apps are available for free or at a cost, for the Android operating system, and can be downloaded directly to a mobile device or on a personal computer through its website. These applications are usually directed to users based on a particular hardware attribute of their device, such as a motion sensor (for game-dependent motion) or a front-facing camera (for online video calls).
