What is "google-maps-api-3"
To Google Maps Javascript API Version 3 is now an official Javascript API. Version 2 of the API has been officially removed in accordance with Google’s removal policy. Version 3 of the API is designed to be faster and more applicable to mobile devices as well as traditional desktop browser applications.
Google has established two licensing models for the use of the Google Maps v3 Javascript API:
- To API Google Maps is free if (and only if) you provide public accessibility to your Google API implementation Maps.
- To Google Maps Enterprise API provides advanced features, added support for organizations that want to add maps for your fee-based websites, mobile apps, or for your internal websites. To learn more about this option, please contact with the sales department of Google Maps for Business.
