What is "google-analytics"

Google Analytics is a free service and is offered by Google in which, when activating the service through a Google account, and when registering a website, you receive a code to be inserted into the registered page and, At each display, visitor statistics are sent to the system and presented to the site owner. It was created primarily as a help to webmasters to optimize their websites for marketing campaigns and for Google Adsense. It is incorrect to think that this service solves the problems of a website automatically without a webmaster behind it, it just demonstrates the information to be corrected.

The system was modeled after Urchin Software Corporation’s Urchin statistics system, acquired by Google in April 2005. Even today the original Urchin system for installation on computers is sold by Google as a new package.
