What is "genexus"

Genexus is a knowledge-based software development tool, mainly targeted at enterprise applications, for web, Windows platforms (GUI) and mobile platforms (Android, Blackberry, iOS and Windows 8). The developer specifies his applications at a high level (mostly declaratively), from which code is generated for multiple environments.
