What is "eclipse"
Eclipse is an integrated development environment (IDE) for Java development, but supports several other languages from plugins as C/C++,PHP, Coldfusion, Python, Scala and Android platform. It was developed in Java and follows the model open source software development kit. It is currently part of the recommended software development kit for developers android.
The Eclipse IDE features the use of the SWT and not Swing as a graphical library, the strong developmental orientation based on plugins and extensive developer support with hundreds of plugins who seek to meet the different needs of different programmers.
