What is "display"

A display (or dial, in Portuguese) is a device for displaying information, visually or tactically, acquired, stored or transmitted in various forms.

When input information is provided as an electrical signal, the display is called an electronic "display (or "panel")".

Tactile electronic displays are usually intended for visually impaired and use electromechanical parts to dynamically update a tactile (usually text) image so that the image can be inferred through the fingers.
