What is "cocos2dx"

Cocos2dx is the most popular opensource framework for game development. It is based on cocos2d-iphone, but instead of using Objetive-C, it uses C++. With it it is possible to develop games and multimedia applications for linux, windows, mac, Ios, android, windows phone and web.
