What is "blender"
Blender, also known as blender3d, is an open source computer program developed by Blender Foundation for modeling, animation, texturing, composition, rendering, video editing and creation of interactive 3D applications, such as games, presentations and others, through its integrated game engine, the Blender Game Engine. The program is cross-platform and is therefore available for several operating systems. Blender implements tools similar to those of other proprietary programs, which include advanced simulation tools such as: rigid body dynamics, soft body dynamics and fluid dynamics, modifier-based modeling tools, Character animation tools, a "we" -based composition system of textures, scenes and images, and an image and video editor with post-production support. Includes support for Python as a scripting language, which can be used in both Blender and its game engine.
